VGC International College is pleased to announce that students who are taking the University Pathway program will now enjoy direct entry to any of following post-baccalaureate programs offered by Capilano University (CapU):
This means that University Pathway students who wish to take up any of these programs at CapU will need complete Level 6 with a minimum grade of 75% and one additional higher level (Level 7) to meet the university’s English language requirements. For students that are already in Level 7, they will be required to successfully complete Level 8 to gain direct entry.
These programs are designed for students looking to gain North American business credentials and practical hands-on work experience in a North American organization, as well as for students who are looking to enhance their knowledge in international tourism management. Students graduating from CapU may be eligible to apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) upon completion of their program requirements.
A teaching-focused, fully-accredited Canadian university
CapU is one of the Canadian universities and colleges that form VGC’s pathway network. Founded in 1968, this public university is fully accredited by both the Government of British Columbia (Canada) and the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (USA). It is also recognized by British Columbia’s Education Quality Assurance (EQA) designation – Canada’s first and only provincial brand of quality for post-secondary education – which means an alumni’s CapU credentials will be recognized locally or abroad whether for graduate studies or employment opportunities
CapU is nestled in the heart of North Vancouver with additional campuses in the Sunshine Coast and Mount Currie, and is regarded for its business, management and childhood care programs.
