Coming This Summer: VGC’s Specialty Programs for Cambridge Preparation, International Business and TESL
For over 14 years, VGC has been committed to providing a high quality language training to international students in the heart of downtown Vancouver. With the opening of our brand new campus on Granville Street earlier this year we have taken the next step in expanding our programs and offering excellent service to our students.
As we are getting closer to summer we are now opening the registrations for our new specialty programs for Cambridge Preparation, International Business and TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language). Read on to find out more about VGC’s new programs and sign up now to kick off your career!
Cambridge Preparation Courses – Your Way to a Successful Cambridge First Certificate in English (FCE) and Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE)
A Cambridge English certificate will give you the possibility to prove your English language skills to employers, universities or organizations from all over the world. Our Cambridge courses come in two separate levels and will prepare you for either the Lower Advanced (FCE) or the Upper Advanced (CAE) examination. Preparing for those exams will give you the confidence and skills to achieve your goals when taking the Cambridge exam in Vancouver or later on in your home country. These advanced courses will teach you subtle differences in grammar and vocabulary and will provide you with strategies to handle all sections of the test with confidence.

International Business Summer Seminar Series – Boost your career with our professional short term seminar courses
Come to Vancouver this summer and join one or all three of our two week programs that give you a foundation in business fundamentals. If you are looking to pursue further studies in the field of business, enhance your knowledge in a specific area as a working professional or would just like to learn more about business basics and principles these programs will set you on the path to success!
VGC’s Certificate Courses consist of a series of seminars that focus on specific areas of professional interest. All seminars are taught by experienced industry professionals and focus on providing a hands-on learning experience in the classroom. You will interact with fellow students from all over the world and industry professionals sharing their expert knowledge. We offer programs in Entrepreneurship, Marketing through Social Media and Leadership. After successful completion of a two-week program you will receive a certificate to enhance your resume.

TESL – Our Teacher Training Programs for teaching English as a Second Language
With the VGC TESL Program (Teaching English As A Second Language), we will get you ready for the adventure of a lifetime and a career you will love. Taking VGC’s TESL Diploma or TESL Certificate in Vancouver will give you the qualifications to work and travel to other countries or stay and teach English in Canada and let the world come to you.
Taking part in this teacher training program will provide you with the pedagogical theory, teaching methodology, strategies and practical approaches to develop the skills and knowledge candidates require to become effective English language teachers. If you are looking for a TESOL Diploma or a TESOL Certificate in Vancouver please note that VGC’s TESL Courses are the same thing. TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) are all the same with the same skill sets taught. The difference in the names relates to where you are teaching.
