May 2019 – Our Activities and Highlights of the Month

Sometimes May can feel like one of those “in-between” months. Winter is gone… but the sun is still not always out. The Canucks’ hockey season is over… but the Canadians’ baseball season hasn’t started yet. In these quiet moments before the rush of summer, lots of fun can still be had at our awesome VGC activities! Here are my recommendations for this month:

VGC Victoria Tour

You made it all the way to British Columbia, so why not visit its capital?! Explore the famous Butchart Gardens, take a walking tour of downtown, shop for souvenirs, and take a photo with the Parliament Buildings. This trip is VGC only, so grab your friends and enjoy a great day on Vancouver Island.

Royal Canadian Circus

Buy yourself popcorn and get ready to be amazed… the circus is in town! Watch acrobats flip and fly, see if you can discover the magician’s secrets, and hold your breath while motorcyclists attempt incredible stunts. This is one spectacle you won’t want to miss!

Try Hockey & Skating

Whether you have been playing hockey your whole life or never been skating, this activity is for everyone! We rented out the whole rink just for VGC and skates are included, so join us on the ice for a fun afternoon.
