February 2020 – Our Activities and Highlights of the Month

This holiday is over 1,500 years old, and has been celebrated in many different ways throughout the centuries. In Canada, it’s a time for couples to share some romance and for single people to show their friends how much they care. Secret Valentines – February 10th – 14th
Do you have a teacher that you really appreciate? A new friend that you want to spread some love to? A secret crush on a classmate? For $2 you can send them an anonymous valentine (or sign your name so they know it’s from you!), just ask Emily for more details.

Valentine’s Day Club Night: February 14th
Valentine’s Day is on a Friday this year! What better way is there to celebrate than with a fun night out?! Join VGC at Venue Nightclub for a “stoplight” themed party. Just like the colors of a stoplight, you can choose to wear red if you’re in a relationship, green if you’re single, or yellow if things are complicated. Your ticket even includes a drink!

Canucks Game – February 19th
If you want to experience the most Canadian thing possible, you have to go to a hockey game! The best team in town is, of course, our very own NHL team the Vancouver Canucks. Come watch them play (and hopefully beat!) an exciting game against Minnesota. Tickets don’t get much cheaper than this!
