Our High School Preparation program has been one of the most popular English summer camps in Vancouver. It combines English lessons designed for teenagers with applied academic activities, as well as exciting excursions and cultural trips in and around beautiful Vancouver. We designed our curriculum specifically for students in the High School age range and we cater to their unique learning styles and needs. Qualified and experienced teachers use a communicative and dynamic approach that engages teenagers and shows them how to apply the language in various settings. Twice a week students take their learning outside the classroom during our applied academic activities. Different methodologies help strengthen our students’ abilities in communication, creativity and teamwork and contribute to their confidence and leadership skills.

One of our highlights and unique to VGC is our very own trip to the Rocky Mountains, where students experience the true Canadian outdoors on a camping adventure trip. Running from July 6th to August 13 2020, teenagers can join our program from two to six weeks according to their own schedule. The program can be combined with our Young Executive Vancouver business camp for teenagers as well as our regular English programs.[/vc_column_text][vc_text_separator title=”VGC High School Preparation Program: Overview” color=”purple”][vc_column_text]
- Age: Suitable for ages 13-18
- Duration: This program takes 6 weeks to complete with 21 hours of study per week. Students can choose to study from 2-6 weeks with weekly start dates.
- Activities: This English Summer Camp consists with after school activities, weekend adventures and out of class academic activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays. All activities are included in the package.
- Requirements: Students of any English level are welcome to join the program. Classes are based on Cambridge levelling for international academic recognition. Take our online assessment here to find out your level!
