Hi, I’m Ding who live in Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan. I’m a freelancer in my hometown, I was a business assistant, a vintage shop clerk , a performer. I’m here because I have a dream to start a different life style. I have been living in Vancouver for almost 3 months I feel really satisfied with my current life.
My main target is to improve my English speaking skills, because I got my working permit last year that I have an opportunity to work or travel in Canada.
Second , VGC has lots of activities and different kinds of elective classes which we can choose by ourselves. Last, VGC has a great pool of teachers, they all have different teaching methods that we can find our way to learn.

In what ways has the course enhanced your English skills and development?
Global English’s topics are related to our daily lives, it helps me to think more and build a strong basic foundation of speaking / writing /reading/listening etc..
IELTS class helps me improving further, it dives deeper than Global English, although this class focused more on academic training but the teacher still takes good care of general training students.
Absolutely! As I said I had improved my English during the class, teachers always want us to speak more, I really like this way, which helps me to build a good rapport with my classmates and teachers.

How would you rate the support you got from your teachers and staff?
If the rate counts from 1 to 10, I will rate for over 10 !! Because those relationships I had are unforgettable , I really had a good time here. Alcina is really nice, I love her teaching methods, she gave us many activities to make English learning more fun ,I always feel energetic during her classes. Jon is a funny teacher, he always uses different ways to courage us when we have mistakes, he let us know we are here for learning so ‘’don’t be afraid of making mistakes’’.
Hannah is a person who shows so much patience with her students, she always invites us to ask her questions that makes me feel comfortable to raise my hand naturally and just feel free to raise any concern.
Yes , sure ! We are birds of a feather who have same goals, we create memorable moments here during class and activities.
I was a traveler few years ago, I came here for visiting my cousin twice. I like the atmosphere of the city, every one here cares about their “me time” which is very important these days. During summer time, Vancouver has many events which are really attractive to tourists. I’m looking forward to autumn and winter.(我蠻喜歡這個城市的,
