Family Camp Program

Camps at VGC is one of Vancouver’s most exciting English camps, providing students from all over the world a unique Canadian learning adventure during summer and winter!

It is also open to families of students in the Junior or Teen program. This arrangement is perfect for families who want to learn English together, allowing the parents to focus on their own classes without having to worry about their children’s safety and whereabouts. Alongside tailored lessons and activities for each group, VGC will also arrange special family activities everyone can enjoy.

Students will spend their time at a dedicated Canadian high school campus during summer and at the VGC campus in Downtown Vancouver in winter.

The VGC Difference

Diverse Student Mix

This program is especially designed for families participating in our Adult, and Junior or Teen programs. Our students come from around the world and we implement an English-only policy to ensure a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Safe and Comfortable Accommodations

VGC offers the option of homestay or furnished apartment accommodations for families during their stay in Vancouver. All our homestay families are carefully selected and provide a safe and warm home away from home. They come from diverse backgrounds that reflect Vancouver’s multicultural population. Students in our homestay program will receive three meals per day and live close to public transportation.

Dedicated and Experienced Staff

We have a multilingual team solely focused on running Camps at VGC. Our staff are highly-trained and ready to help with anything that comes up during the student’s time here in Vancouver. They have extensive experience working with a range of students – especially young learners – and ensure that they are in a safe and welcoming environment. We also provide a 24-hour emergency hotline for any emergency situation.
