December 2019 – Our Activities and Highlights of the Month

The air outside might be cold, but here at VGC our hearts are warm and filled with holiday happiness. This month we are getting straight into the Christmas spirit, with lots of festive activities to fill your days. Here are my recommendations for December:[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]

December 12th: VGC Holiday Pub Night
It’s a perfect time of year to be around close friends, so grab your classmates and join us at Colony Bar on Granville Street for our Holiday Pub Night! Your ticket includes one drink and lots of fun. Exams will be finished, and it’s time to relax and have a beer or two. We have an English expression that is commonly said around the holidays: “Eat, drink, and be merry!”

December 13th: VanDusen Gardens Festival of Light
The illuminations at VanDusen Botanical are amazing and very popular. The Christmas event features over one million lights, spread out over beautiful gardens! You won’t want to miss these spectacular displays.

December 20th: VGC Pancake Breakfast

All I want for Christmas is… FREE PANCAKES! What more could you ask for on a chilly December morning? Come to school early, grab a plate, and enjoy some breakfast as you celebrate the start of the holiday break.
