VGC Reopening Update – We’re back!
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The last weeks have been special for us: after we had to close our doors in March and shift all classes to VGC Virtual, we were finally given the permission to officially open our campus to students again. As of July 6th 2020 VGC is running classes on both campuses in Vancouver again.
Safety precautions and physical distancing
It’s been a great start and we’ve all thoroughly enjoyed seeing students back in our classrooms. Our gradual reopening over the last several weeks took feedback from students and staff into consideration. This enabled us to create a campus environment that is safe and comfortable for everyone.

We are currently teaching in class with a reduced number of students, with the remaining students of each class joining virtually. Through blended learning we are maintaining a number of students on campus that allows for proper physical distancing. All students are instructed to stay at home if they felt any symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 10 days. The feedback of our students has been very positive and we are looking forward to the coming weeks!
Joining our programs from outside of Canada
Yes, we are accepting new students for in-person classes! As borders reopen, all new students entering Canada are required to undergo two weeks of self-isolation upon arrival in BC (ongoing travel restrictions may vary depending on the country). We have coordinated a variety of different options which will ensure all students arriving in Vancouver are able to quarantine safely.

Students who cannot travel or don’t feel comfortable yet are welcome to join our programs virtually. This way they can meet their classmates and teachers in advance from the comfort of their home. When the time is right they can come to Canada and join us in person!
